Surfrider Foundation

Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit organisation whose purpose is to protect and showcase the importance of lakes, rivers, the ocean, waves, and coastlines. It currently has over 18,000 members and is active across 12 countries through its volunteer-run branches. 

For more than 30 years, Surfrider Foundation Europe has been taking action as a recognized authority in three areas of expertise: marine litter, water quality and public health, coastal management and climate change. 

At "My Mission" we look for charities with passion, awareness and are willing to take action. Surfrider Foundation ticks all of these boxes.

They take an problem-solving approach and offers animals in distress swift and direct aid. Our aim is to achieve and establish changes in politics, society and the economy that will benefit animals – through projects, campaigns and education.

Solace Women's aid

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children.

They have been at the forefront of shaping and coordinating responses to domestic violence and abuse through practice for almost 50 years. They empower survivors by keeping their voices at the heart of our work, working with and for women and children by listening to them and responding to their needs.

Women’s Aid was founded on women’s struggle against patriarchy, sexism and male violence and grew out of the Women’s movement in the 70’s and 80’s. Today we take an intersectional approach to our work to end domestic abuse and stand with other feminist organisations leading the way in eradicating Violence Against Women and Girls.

Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders was founded in 1971 in France by a group of doctors and journalists in the wake of war and famine in Biafra, Nigeria. Their aim was to establish an independent organization that focused on delivering emergency medical humanitarian aid quickly, effectively, and impartially.

Over the past five decades, DWB has grown from a group of a few hundred volunteers to an international movement of more than 69,000 staff providing over 16 million medical consultations in more than 70 countries every year. But the core values of humanitarianism, independence, neutrality, and impartiality that brought those original members together in 1971 continue to drive our work.

At "My Mission" we want everybody to have at least the minimum healthcare. we are al human, part of the world.

Kids Cancer Foundation

Imagine a place designed specifically for kids with cancer.

The Kids Cancer Foundation provides hope and support to our young patients and their families. When a child is diagnosed with cancer their childhood days quickly change to be filled with chemo and endless doctor and hospital visits. Life not only changes for the child but for the entire family.

Doctors and Nurses work hard to cure the cancer but families need more than just medical help to get through this stressful and fearful time in their lives. This is where Kids Cancer Foundation steps in to fill this void.

This is a foundation that lays very close to the harts for the founders of "My Mission", making the best out of a bad situation shouldn't be a privilege.
